The plate
- Seed
- Click any neutral cell. A colony starts there with 30 peons.
- Send
- Drag from a held cell onto any cell it has a channel to. The lines show what each cell will send before the button comes up.
- How much
- The share sent is a setting, not a per-send choice. Scroll the wheel, press 1 to 4, or click the percentage in the corner. It stays put.
- Pick
- Click a held cell to pick it. Shift-click or press A for the whole colony, ctrl-click to add or remove, drag a box for several. With cells picked, clicking or right-clicking a target sends from them.
- Reinforce
- Drag onto a cell already held to move peons there instead of attacking.
- Build
- Hover a held cell. Four upgrades, 50 peons each, lost if the cell falls. Walls hold a shield of 25 that recharges after ten quiet seconds. A peon farm produces a quarter faster. A palisade kills a fifth of what attacks. Toxin makes peons sent from that cell hit 15 percent harder.
- Landing strip
- Right-drag from one held cell to another. Peons walk it on their own until a cell on it changes hands. A right-click on the source lifts it again.
- Travel
- Peons only move along channels, and only reach the cell at the far end. Whoever holds it when they arrive is who they fight.
- Blooms
- Gold patches drift across the glass. Cells under one produce much faster while it passes.
- Contamination
- Moss coloured parasites grow in open substrate, then throw peons at whatever they reached, waking with 30 plus a quarter of that cell. Taking one bursts it, and one still growing has no channel to reach it by.
- Projects
- The six stained cells are the sites. Clicking one opens it, for as long as its project still holds it.
